In this case study, we met with certified integrator Roger’s Security and project lead Jack Dugas at one of their enterprise sites in the Burlington / GTA area of Southern Ontario. The property is a large multi‑level facility with a parking garage where the client needed reliable access control, video surveillance, and fire monitoring.
This episode highlights a phased upgrade to an ICT access control platform: moving from an aging card access system to modern ICT hardware, extending coverage to the parking garage doors, and preparing to expand to residential suites. Jack walks through how they build out ICT panels and cabinets, tie them into the existing enterprise security camera system and fire alarm monitoring, and design the system to scale for future phases.
