During our visit to Aiphone’s headquarters in Seattle, we had the chance to get a closer look at what makes their products so well-regarded in the industry. While talking with Aiphone’s team across different departments from tech support to sales and hearing real-world stories from the field, we came up with an idea: why not put the DM7 (IXG-DM7-HIDA IP Video Entrance Station) to the durability test — literally?
We decided to run a series of real-world stress tests: extreme temperatures, water exposure, impacts, and even open flame, to explore how well this unit holds up under pressure.
▶ Watch the full test to see what happened and whether the DM7 lives up to its reputation for reliability.
