Pipl Systems shows real security projects from live sites. In this video, we visit a 24‑story office building in downtown Toronto with Phillip Kiatipis, Project Manager at Bond Securcom Inc., to see how Aiphone IX‑SSA‑2RA IP emergency call stations in WB‑CE wall boxes are used in a multi‑level underground parking garage. The stations are installed along driving lanes, beside barriers, and near doors, so tenants and visitors are always close to a clearly marked point where they can call security.
When someone presses the emergency button, the blue strobe on the wall box starts flashing and an audible alarm sounds. This makes it easy for security and first responders to locate the caller and helps deter potential offenders. The call goes straight over the building IP network to an Aiphone IX‑MV7 master station in the security office, where staff can talk to the person, keep them on the line, and coordinate help. Watch to see how this simple, PoE-powered setup enhances safety and confidence for everyone using the underground spaces.
