The Pipl Systems team was invited to a Canadian town, Burlington, Ontario, to document a complete security retrofit at a mixed-use property. We joined Karlis Praulins, Area Sales Manager - Aiphone, and Stefan Goetz-Parent, System Sales Specialist - Aiphone, along with Panos Caltsounis, Owner - Infinity Systems Canada, to see how they replaced an aging analog system with a modern, cloud-managed solution that solves the challenge of having no on-site property manager.
This project highlights the transition to the Aiphone IXG Series IP video intercom and AC Series access control platform. By leveraging AiphoneCloud and the IXGW-TGW Gateway, the system allows for full remote management - enabling the off-site manager to update tenant directories and credentials instantly from anywhere. Tenants gain the convenience of mobile app entry and seamless parking access, while the building owner gets a scalable, future-proof system that integrates video intercom and access control into one unified solution.
